Wisconsin Provides Update on Management Fees

The HUD Milwaukee office reviews the reasonableness of management fees every two years and establishes a maximum allowable fee.  Effective September 1, 2015, the maximum allowable fee will be $48 per unit per month.  The per unit per month amount is used to establish the management fee percentage.

WHEDA Awards $12.5 million in LIHTCs

Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority awarded $12.5 million in low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs) to fund 25 affordable housing developments. WHEDA Amended its Policy for Recertification Exemptions

Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority amended its policy for recertification exemptions to clarify that if an owner has elected a BIN(s) as a project and all have been allocated as 100% low-income as documented on the Form 8609, line 8B these will not be required to complete an annual tenant income recertification.

WHEDA Announces That the 2015 Competitive LIHTC Application is Now Available

The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) announces that the 2015 Competitive LIHTC application is now available on LOLA, WHEDA’s LIHTC online system. Applications for credit must be submitted electronically using LOLA.  Competitive applications will be accepted January 16 – January 30, 2015 (5:00 p.m. CST).

WHEDA Has Modified the QAP

WHEDA has modified the Qualified Allocation Plan regarding submittal dates and selection criteria for the 2014 LIHTC “High Impact Reserve Project”. The 2014 LIHTC High Impact Project Reserve (HIPR) application is now available on LOLA, WHEDA’s LIHTC online system. Applications will be accepted from July 15-30.
