Texas Revises 2021 Multifamily Uniform Application

In preparation for the 2021 nine percent LIHTC application cycle, the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) posted a revised 2021 Multifamily Uniform Application for use in preparing applications for multifamily funding from the Multifamily Finance Division. The revised application includes updates to the links between Tabs 42, 47 and 48. The updated links will allow data to conveniently autofill within the respective tabs.

Texas Electronic Filing Agreements Due Feb. 15

Ten Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Section 11.2 related to the Program Calendar for LIHTC requires that if a 2021 Pre-Application was not submitted, an Electronic Filing Agreement must be submitted on or before Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, in order to ensure enough time for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) to assign a username for the applicant to create an account. Texas Posts Draft 2021 Site Demographic Characteristics Report

Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs posted a draft of the 2021 Housing Tax Credit Site Demographic Characteristics Report. The report is missing the three-year average poverty rate, rent burden and affordable housing needs indicator worksheets, all of which will be added shortly.
