Rhode Island Governor Daniel McKee (D) recently signed H.B. 6016, which extends the sunset date of the state historic tax credit (HTC) to June 30, 2024 or until the maximum aggregate credits is exhausted.

RIHousing announced the issuance of $73.6 million of new bonds, the first ‘Sustainability Bonds’ to be offered by the agency. The sale of the bonds will fund the acquisition and rehabilitation of 752 rental homes for low- and moderate-income Rhode Islanders. 

Barbara Jordan II is a housing development in Upper South Providence which includes 26 two- and three-story apartment buildings situated on scattered sites totaling 2.75 acres. The 26 buildings contain a total of 74 apartments, all of which are currently vacant.
