The second draft of the 2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) and a red-lined version are now available on the Ohio Housing Finance Agency website. The Ohio Housing Finance Agency released the first draft of the 2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) on Thursday, March 5. The first draft of the 2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) is now available on the OHFA website. Written comments will be accepted through April 30, 2015.

The deadline for the 2015 Housing Tax Credit Proposal Applications was Friday, February 20. Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) received a total of 103 applications. Project proposal summaries submitted by applicants have been posted to the OHFA website.

Representatives Pat Tiberi (R-OH), Richard Neal (D-MA) and Tom Reed (R-NY) introduced a bill to permanently extend the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program.

As the Ohio Housing Finance Agency multifamily program offices continue the process of preparing the 2016-2017 QAP, they will focus on preparing the first draft of the QAP scheduled to be released in early March 2015.

OHFA announced the Multifamily Lending Program can be used in conjunction with the 2015 9% LIHTC proposal applications, and the program is eligible for competitive points under Development Characteristic Priority 3c.

The sixth issue of the FAQ for the 2015 QAP has been posted to the OHFA website. New content is underlined for clarity and ease of use.  

There are still several opportunities to collaborate and provide input on proposed changes to the 2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan.

The next Regional Public Forum is scheduled for this coming Thursday, January 8, in Athens. The forum will be held at the COAD – Ohio Weatherization Training Center (1 Pinchot Lane, Athens, Ohio, 45701) and will begin at 9:30 AM.
