A new note from Peter Lawrence with Novogradac and Co. analyses state use of the private activity bonds (PABs). In 2017, eleven states reported no multifamily PAB issuance, up from ten in 2016 and down from the high of 30 in 2011.

Registration is currently open for the 2018 Multi-Family Housing Conference with the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority.

New Hampshire Housing held a formal public hearing on March 23, 2018 to receive comments on the draft Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). An audio recording, PowerPoint presentation, and documents are available.

These standards apply to multifamily properties being refinanced through NHHFA or are being acquired through NHHFA financing.

Topic of discussion will be the scoring criteria in the 2018 QAP as well as other general issues.

The scoring criteria in the 2018 QAP and other general items will be up for discussion.

NHH asks that stakeholders take a 3-question survey to shape topics for the conference.

As a result of concerns voiced during the 2017 QAP public hearing regarding the use of walkscore, the agency proposed changes to HFA:109.07.A. 10. to include another qualifying component – Community Center Area.

On Friday, March 18, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority will hold a public hearing on the draft 2017 QAP.

On January 25, 2016 from 1:30-3:30 New Hampshire Housing will have a public forum at the New Hampshire Audubon facility at 84 Silk Farm Road, Concord, New Hampshire.

Revised Underwriting and Development Policies for Multi-Family Finance have been posted to the New Hampshire Housing website. These policies will be applied to projects financed by the Authority, effective immediately.
