The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) released a $3,377,390 2020 National Housing Trust Fund Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). The funding will go to Public Housing Authorities and nonprofit developers to implement eligible, affordable rental housing development activities, including the acquisition and/or rehabilitation of units or the new construction of units for rent to extremely low-income persons.
Pennrose and the Chattanooga Housing Authority (CHA) celebrated the redevelopment groundbreaking ceremony for Cromwell Hills and Emerald Villages in Chattanooga, TN. The comprehensive initiative will repair and upgrade 200 units at the Cromwell Hills apartment complex and redevelop 111 scattered-site units into the new Emerald Villages.

The bill will authorize construction of 12 million new public housing and private, permanently affordable rental units.

The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority announced a competitive National Housing Trust Fund (HTF) application cycle available only to projects that will be applying for nine percent LIHTCs in the Supportive Housing Set-Aside in the 2020 LIHTC Cycle.
