The Montana legislature took comprehensive action this year on a suite of zoning bills that together will help facilitate the production of rental housing and prevent local governments in the state from adopting policies that create barriers to development.

Montana Housing will host a workshop to do a walkthrough of the new Uniform Application, as well as an overview of the process and submittal requirements for Letter of Intent and Full Application, while touching on the corresponding sections of the new 2023 QAP.

The Montana Department of Commerce will hold a public hearing via Zoom to consider a proposed amendment to the 2023 QAP on February 3 at 10 a.m. MT.
