The Housing Credit Geographic RFA Workshop to be held on August 9, 2018.

Florida’s Action Plan, which oversees $616 million, includes $100 million for workforce affordable rental new construction.

FHFC aims to allow developments that have not yet received their 8609s to elect the new option. Read on for some of the proposed requirements around income averaging.

This workshop is intended to provide information on anticipated changes to the RFA process for the upcoming RFA cycle, as well as to solicit ideas and feedback on how Florida Housing can best implement its RFA process. 

The $28 billion is a record high and comes from congressional appropriations made by the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 (PL 115-123).

In response to disaster relief efforts in areas of the state deemed to be hardest hit by the 2017 hurricanes, Florida Housing will offer RFA 2018-107 SAIL and Housing Credit Financing for Affordable Housing for Hurricane Recovery in Monroe County.
