Florida Housing Finance Corporations’ Board of Directors has begun work to update its strategic plan.  On October 31, 2019, the Board will accept public comments on the strategic direction of the corporation. The board is using the Strategic Plan from 2014 as a starting point.

The Florida Housing Finance Corporation announced that it will issue modifications extending three RFA Application Deadlines due to the impacts of Hurricane Dorian.

Florida Housing also released Questions and Answers regarding RFA 2019-111 “Rental Recovery Loan Program (RRLP) Financing to be Used for Rental Developments in Hurricane Michael Impacted Counties.”

Florida Housing issued a Third Modification to RFA 2019-102 Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) to be used in conjunction with Tax-Exempt MMRB and Non-Competitive Housing Credits in Counties Deemed Hurricane Recovery Priorities.

The Florida Housing Finance Corporation posted the application submitted report for “RFA 2019-103 Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) for Small Developments in Areas Deemed Hurricane Recovery Priorities.” The applications review committee will review the applications at its next meeting on November 13 at 2 pm EDT.

The Florida Housing Finance Corporation will hold a workshop regarding RFA 2019-118 “Elderly Housing Community Loan” on September 10 from 10 am to noon EDT at Florida Housing’s offices located at 227 N. Bronough Street, 6th Floor Seltzer Room, Tallahassee, FL. Funding under the RFA must be used to provide for life-safety, building preservation, health, sanitation, or security-related repairs or improvements to Developments currently serving Elderly residents aged 62 or older.
