Florida Housing Finance Corporation has issued RFA 2021-208 SAIL And Housing Credit Financing For The Construction Of Workforce Housing.
Florida Housing released a draft of its 2021 QAP. The draft QAP proposes removing the 15 percent allocation for preservation or acquisition and preservation. The definitions of Applicant, Developer and Principal now includes a requirement that entities and principals other than natural persons be legally formed as of application deadline.

Florida Housing will hold review committee meetings on January 12 and 13 for requests for applications (RFAs) 2020-201, 2020-203, 2020-205 and 2020-206. The Review Committee Meetings recommendations for the above RFAs, as well as RFA 2020-101 Elderly Housing Community Loan (EHCL) will be presented to the Florida Housing Board of Directors during the January 22, 2021 Board Meeting.

The Florida Housing Finance Corporation updated the 2020-2021 Tentative Funding Amounts and Timeline on December 4.
Florida Housing clarified that households receiving Section 8 rental subsidy, as well as other households receiving federal rental subsidy, who can demonstrate that their monthly incomes have been specifically impacted by the COVID-19 crisis are eligible to participate in CRF for the household’s portion of rent, options (such as washer and dryer rental included in the lease or through an addendum to the lease) that are not paid by any other federal rental subsidy. The prohibition of duplication of benefits does not prohibit stacking benefits but does prohibit duplication.
