HUD Announces 2009 Income Limits

HUD has released the estimated median family incomes (MFIs) and income limits for Fiscal Year (FY) 2009. MFIs are used as the basis for income limits in several HUD programs (including the Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher, CDBG, and HOME programs), as well as in programs run by the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Treasury, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, and Government Sponsored Enterprises.

CDFI Fund Releases ARRA Implementation Plan

Treasury Department’s Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund is releasing its implementation plan to award funds from the the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act). The New Markets Tax Credit portion of the plan provides details on how an additional $1.5 billion in NMTC allocation authority will be provided to applicants who applied for NMTC allocation authority under the 2008 application round.
