NH&RA Summer Institute (2016)
NH&RA will host our 2016 Summer Institute, plus a pre-conference New Markets & Historic Tax Credits Symposium, on July 20-24, 2016 at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown, MA, on Martha’s Vineyard.
* NH&RA courses are only pre-approved by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). To have these credits recognized by other organizations, you must apply with the outside organizations directly. Please contact NH&RA staff for additional questions by clicking here.

NOTE: We will only issue refunds if Black Dog Charter cancels the event, which is unlikely unless there is a major weather event. We will sail rain or shine! If you need to cancel, we cannot issue a refund unless your spot is taken by someone else.

The NH&RA group room block at the Harbor View and Kelley House are closed. Rooms are still available, at prevailing hotel rates, at the Kelley House. If you require a hotel reservation contact the Kelley House reservation department for availability. Let them know you are attending the NH&RA conference. The phone number is (508) 627-7900 and call between 9am – 6pm daily. The Kelley House is located a short 5 minute walk to the Harbor View.

Both hotels’ cancellation policies dictate that reservations cancelled with the reservations office at least 21 days prior to the scheduled arrival date will be refunded less a $25 cancellation fee. If reservations are cancelled within 21 days prior to the arrival date, the deposit is non-refundable.
Travel Info
Airline
Direct service from Boston, New York, Newark, Nantucket, Hyannis and other cities is available to Martha’s Vineyard Airport. The Harbor View Hotel is approximately a ten-minute drive from Martha’s Vineyard Airport. Alternatively, many attendees choose to fly into Boston or Providence airports and take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard.
Ground Transportation and Ferry
Ferry service is offered from Falmouth and New Bedford, Massachusetts. If you drive, you can park on the mainland in one of the Steamship Authority parking lots and walk-on to the ferry as a passenger. When the lot at the Steamship terminal in Woods Hole is full, additional parking is available at three off-site lots in Bourne and Falmouth. Shuttle service is provided to the ticket terminal and ferry dock.
If you are bringing your car to the Island, you MUST have a reservation. You can call up to one hour prior to sailing time to reserve a space for your car; however, we strongly suggest placing your Steamship Authority Reservation as soon as your hotel reservation is confirmed. Call 508-477-8600 to make ferry reservations or book online. “Stand-by” reservations are no longer accepted.
Fast Ferry service is also available from Quonset, Rhode Island (approx. 15 minutes from Providence Airport, PVD). Visit www.vineyardfastferry.com for booking and schedules.
