Florida Housing will host an in-person compliance training from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET on September 24 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld.

The Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) released the approved 2022-2023 QAP.

The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) is requiring contractors, as well as recipients of federal financial assistance (including subcontractors) to be registered at Sam.gov. Active registration in SAM is required to apply for an award and for HUD/MSHDA to make a payment.

The North Dakota Housing Finance Agency is accepting applications for programs that support affordable rental housing development and provide homeownership and rental assistance for low-income households. Funding is available through LIHTC, Housing Incentive Fund (HIF), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) and National Housing Trust Fund (HTF).

The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) created new Tenant Selection Plan (TSP) guidelines to provide direction for property owners/management agents on what must be included in TSPs.

Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) will hold a Housing Stability Council meeting on August 6 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PT via Zoom. The meeting materials packet is available here.

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) and the Texas Apartment Association (TAA) will host a training on multifamily direct loans from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT on August 31.

As of July 1, 2020, all Virginia landlords must offer the Statement of Tenant Rights and Responsibilities form to prospective tenants before signing the lease. The Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development updated the document as of July 1, 2021, which should be included in all new move-in files within the Virginia Housing portfolio.

HUD’s Office of Affordable Housing Programs (OAHP) is hosting a webinar series to assist communities in planning for their allocation of HOME-American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding in advance of HUD publishing an implementing notice for the program. 

The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) released the Round 4 Multifamily Housing Program (MHP) July 2021 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for approximately $220 million. Applications are due by September 20 at 5 p.m. PT. HCD will hold virtual NOFA workshops, which offer participants the opportunity to hear an overview of the NOFA and any updates that have developed since the third round in July 2020.

The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) posted the Infill Infrastructure Grant (IIG) program Round 7 Applications received and self-scores list. The information was provided by applicants and has not yet been verified by HCD. 

The Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an organization to conduct a quarterly survey of multifamily properties and to consult with CHFA regarding the data analysis and results. Select markets to be surveyed are listed in the RFP. Responses to the RFP must be received by CHFA no later than 5 p.m. MT on August 18 to Kristi Budish.
