Qualified Allocation Plans

The Ohio Housing Finance Agency released the first draft of the 2016-2017 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) on Thursday, March 5. OHFA partners are encouraged to respond to drafts of the QAP by attending upcoming public hearings and public forums and by providing written comments to 2016QAPMailbox@ohiohome.org.

The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority announced the 2015-16 application for the Neighborhood Assistance Tax Credit Program (NAP) is now open. The Application is open until April 17, 2015 at 5:00 PM/EST.

The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee posted updated tax credit applications. The changes are: addition of the 2015 rent limits and a correction to the “Total Expenses” line item of the 15 Year Pro Forma spreadsheet.

WHEDA made changes to the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Qualified Allocation Plan for the upcoming High Impact Project Reserve application round.  A memo describing the changes can be found on WHEDA’s website.

The Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) released a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) on Friday, March 20, 2015 for the preliminary commitment of approximately $5 million of HOME Investment Partnership Program funds.

Kentucky Housing Corporation announced decreases to conventional interest rates, effectively immediately.

Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority announced the 2015-16 application for the Neighborhood Assistance Tax Credit Program (NAP) is now open. The NAP program of the State of Indiana that provides $2.5 million tax credits annually to non-profit organizations for sale as a fundraising and capacity building tool.

Georgia Department of Community Affairs released a notice to explain that in the “Leveraging of Public Resources” section of the 2015 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP), a Georgia State Housing Trust Fund loan is listed as a qualifying source for points in the section (Scoring, Page 19 of 34).

Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development announced applications for the 2015 Competitive Funding Round for LIHTCs and Rental Housing Funds are due by Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 5:00 PM. Applications must be delivered to the mailroom on the ground floor of 7800 Harkins Road, New Carrollton, Maryland 20706.

Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) is pleased to announce the awards for funding for the 2014 application round competing for 2015 program resources. KHC received 40 applications requesting $20 million in Low Income Housing Tax Credits (Housing Credits), and was able to fund 19 projects with $9,174,414 of 2015 Housing Credits in conjunction with other KHC resources, including funds from the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) and Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF) totaling $1,837,682.
