THDA Board Approves Changes to 2018 & 2019-2020 QAPs

The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) Board of Directors approved several changes to its 2019-2020 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) as well as its 2018 QAP. The amendment to the 2018 QAP allows LIHTC recipients that do not request a 2018 exchange allocation to request approval for income averaging. If approved, the right to a qualified contract is waived and a compliance fee of $1,200 per LIHTC unit must be paid. The Board also approved four changes to the 2019-2020 QAP:

The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee released the 9% competitive and 4% competitive Excel applications. IHFA Holds Feb. 12 Hearing on Proposed Changes to LIHTC QAP

The Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) will hold a public hearing in its main floor conference at 565 W. Myrtle, Boise, ID. on Thursday, Feb. 12 beginning at 9:30 am MT to discuss proposed amendments to its Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP).

Maryland Releases 2019 QAP & Multifamily Financing Program Guide for Comment, Holds Hearing Feb. 5

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) released the second draft of the Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) and Multifamily Rental Financing Program Guide (Guide) for public comment. Comments on both documents should be sent electronically to dhcd.qap@maryland.gov by 5 pm ET on Feb. 4, 2019.

The California Tac Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) updated attachments 4(A), 4(B), 4(C), 4(D), and 24 to fix form field errors. TCAC also released the presentation materials from its 2019 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Application Workshops.

NCHFA Publishes 2019 Housing Credit Preliminary Applications

The North Carolina Housing Finance Agency published the list of received Housing Credit and tax-exempt bond preliminary applications. There were 153 preliminary 9% applications in 50 counties (141 new construction and 12 rehabilitation) and 16 tax-exempt bond applications. FHFC issues Housing Credit and SAIL RFA – applications due Feb. 5

The Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) issued a Request for Applications (RFA) 2019-106 – Housing Credit and State Apartment Incentive Loan (SAIL) Financing to Develop Housing for Homeless Persons.  An estimated $3,620,000 of Housing Credits and an estimated $10,300,000 of SAIL funds are available to proposed developments under this RFA.
