Qualified Allocation Plans

2018 annual compliance reporting (Owner Annual Certification and Resident Data) is due Feb. 15 by 4:30 pm CT in the Housing Credit Management System. All extension requests must be submitted by a member of the ownership entity before the deadline.

The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee released a Development Section Resyndication Questionnaire Memo. This memo is applicable to projects with existing low income housing tax credit allocations that are requesting a new reservation of tax credits.  The questionnaire in the memo must be completed when submitting a resyndication application

The Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) announced the awards for the 2019 LIHTC application round. KHC received 30 applications requesting more than $21 million in LIHTC and was able to fund 19 projects with $13,747,583 of 2019 LIHTC in conjunction with $2,140,000 from the HOME Investment Partnerships Program and $1,500,000 from KHC’s Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF).

The Florida Housing Finance Corporation will hold a Rule Development Workshop on Feb. 27 at 2 pm ET to discuss proposed changes to Rule Chapters 67-21 and 67-48 of the Florida Administration Code. Chapter 67-21 governs non-competitive affordable multifamily rental housing programs including the Multifamily Mortgage Revenue Bonds Program and 4 percent LIHTC. Chapter 67-48 governs competitive affordable multifamily rental housing programs including the State Apartment Incentive Loan Program, the Elderly Housing Community Loan Program, the HOME Investment Partnerships Program and 9 percent LIHTC.

The Baltimore Metropolitan Council (BMC) seeks qualified and experienced developers to apply for affordable housing subsidies for new construction, substantial rehabilitation or existing housing through the Baltimore Regional Project-Based Voucher Program.

Registration is now open for the 2019 West Virginia Housing Development Fund (WVHDF) LIHTC Application Workshop. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at the Holiday Inn & Suites, South Charleston, WV. WVHDF awards up to 30 points in the Qualified Allocation Plan for attending the Application Workshops.

The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) published the 2019 Credit Estimates. TCAC estimates over $109 million in new credits minus $165,757 in forward committed 2019 credits leaving $108.8 million credits.
