The Kentucky Housing Corporation opened its Universal Funding Application (UFA) for 2020 Housing Credit and non-credit projects for applications on May 1.
The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) is planning to release results of the 2019 Competitive Housing Tax Credit round as scheduled on May 15.Binding Reservation Agreements will not be issued if any organization within a development team has failed to provide all documentation required along with any necessary repayments relating to other funding provided by OHFA.

The Louisiana Housing Corporation released a draft version of its 2019 QAP for comment. A hearing on the draft QAP will be held on May 6 at 10 am CST at 2415 Quail Drive in Baton Rouge, LA. Register here to attend the hearing. Comments on the draft QAP should be sent to qapcomments@lhc.la.gov.

The State of Minnesota issued a draft of its 2019 Action Plan. This plan directs how the state will meet needs and priorities in 2019 using HUD resources, and will be submitted to HUD to receive federal housing and community assistance funding for the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships, National Housing Trust Fund, Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS and Emergency Solutions Grant. A public hearing on the draft plan will be held on May 7 at 4 pm CDT at Minnesota Housing’s office – 400 Wabasha Street, Suite 400, St. Paul.
The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) released draft Income Averaging (IA) Guidance. Comments are due by 9 am CDT on April 22 to TNAllocation@thda.org.
The Alabama Housing Finance Authority (AHFA) is accepting applications for National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) projects. The application deadline for available 2017 HTF funding is Monday, June 3rd. The California Department of Housing and Community Development (CalHCD) has released an amendment to the Veterans Housing and Homelessness Prevention (VHHP) program Guidelines for rounds 1 – 4. Effective immediately, the Guidelines’ treatment of Developer Fees and Asset Management Fees mirrors the Uniform Multifamily Regulations’ treatment of those fees.
The Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) is hosting private activity bond stakeholder meetings in Denver from 10-11 am MDT on April 29 and May 8. The Denver meeting will take place at CHFA’s office. CHFA will host a third meeting on May 13 from 2-3 pm MDT at its Western Slope office.
