Kentucky Housing Corporation executive director Edwin King has announced his resignation, effective mid-August of 2019. King, who has served as executive director since July of 2017, has accepted a position in the Greater Cincinnati area which is closer to his family.
The Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) will be holding a series of outreach meetings to seek comments on its draft 2020 QAP. VHFA’s proposed changes to the QAP include formatting changes to improve the structure and readability of the document, income averaging in LIHTC projects, updated green building standards and changes to compliance requirements and credit allocation amounts for supportive housing for homeless households.

The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) announced that Biggs Development, Justice Property Management & Greystone Affordable Development and Woda Cooper Companies were selected to participate in the Moving Forward Rural Development (RD) Program. IHCDA, in partnership with Energy Systems Network (ESN), will work with these three groups to take on the challenge to preserve a minimum of 30 USDA Rural Development (RD) properties.
Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak (D) signed S.B. 448 that creates a state LIHTC with an annual statewide cap of $10 million that can be carried forward if unused. The state LIHTC has a sunset date of Jan. 1, 2030. Nevada is now the 18th state with a state LIHTC incentive.
