The Louisiana Housing Corporation (LHC) released the Piggyback Resilient Mixed-Income (PRIME) NOFA, which is designed to develop resilient multifamily properties in areas that were greatly impacted by the 2016 floods. This NOFA will make available $42 million in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to be combined with LIHTC and bond-financed mortgage proceeds, supporting the development of mixed-income multifamily properties

The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) will host a Compliance Advisory Committee Meeting at 10:00 am ET on December 19 in it’s Roger McCauley Board Room at 57 East Main Street, Columbus, OH 43215 to solicit feedback to OHFA regarding compliance policy and regulation impacting the operation of multifamily projects in Ohio.

The New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority will hold a hearing at 10:00 am ET on December 20 on its draft 2021-2022 QAP. Written comments in lieu of participation in the public hearing are welcome and may be submitted to QAP@nhhfa.org.

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) will accept comments on the Draft 2020 State of Texas Low Income Housing Plan and Annual Report (SLIHP) through 5:00 pm CT  on January 15, 2020. The SLIHP offers a comprehensive reference for statewide housing needs, housing resources and strategies for funding allocations.

Representatives from the Texas Bond Review Board will discuss the lottery process, lottery application requirements and how to proceed in the oversubscribed regions and sub-ceilings on a webinar from 10:00 – 11:00 am CT on January 30. Attendees will learn about legislative changes that increase demand earlier in the private activity bond program year.

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Multifamily Finance Division posted a template of the 2020 nine percent LIHTC Pre-Application Form. This document is for planning purposes only and should not be submitted to TDHCA. TDHCA also posted the 2020 nine percent LIHTC Quantifiable Community Participation Neighborhood Information Packet and the 2020 Multifamily Application Procedures Manual.

The West Virginia Housing Development Fund (WVHDF) will soon update the 2019 and 2020 QAP to the new 2021 and 2022 QAP. In preparation of the update WVHDF is requesting submissions the top three changes/suggestions for the Fund to consider when drafting the new QAP and the 2021 and 2022 Tax Credit Manual.

On December 17, 2019 from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., the Illinois Housing Development Authority (Authority) will hold its listening session regarding the proposed guidance on projects with rental assistance contracts requesting tax-exempt bonds and 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits in the Authority’s offices located at 111 E. Wacker Drive, Suite 1000. As a reminder, guests will be asked to register in the 111 E. Wacker Drive lobby as part of the building’s standard security protocol. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
