Minnesota Hosts Community Meetings

Minnesota Housing will host three community meetings in February to discuss rental resources and policy priorities. Minnesota Housing is seeking input to inform its priorities for distributing multifamily rental dollars and would like to hear how development and preservation resources could be best used to support housing stability in communities.

New Hampshire Posts Revised 2021-2022 QAP

The New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority (NHHFA) posted a revised 2021-2022 QAP that reflects the comments received at the December 20, 2019 public hearing, as well as written comments. NHHFA present the draft 2021-2022 QAP to the Multi-Family Housing Committee on February 19, 2020 and to the Board of Directors for approval on February 27, 2020 at 10:30 am ET.

Oregon Posts NOFA Expectations

Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) published the 2020 NOFA Expectations document, which provides foundational information about what to expect in the upcoming NOFAs, including the registration information for NOFA trainings.

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Multifamily Finance Division posted an updated 2019-2 Multifamily Special Purpose Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA): Predevelopment Application Log. The updated log lists Predevelopment Applications by their respective Application Acceptance Date.

Pre-registration for the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) West Virginia Multifamily Rental Housing Program Request for Proposals (RFP) are due to the West Virginia Housing Development Fund (the Fund) by 11:59 pm ET on February 14, 2020. The full applications are due to the Fund by 4:30 pm ET on March 31, 2020.

Louisiana Amends PRIME NOFA

The Louisiana Housing Corporation issued an addendum to its Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and Program Implementation Guidelines for the Multifamily Piggyback/CDBG-DR Loan Funding Piggyback Resilience Initiative – Mixed-Income (PRIME).

QAP Kentucky

Kentucky Hosts Final Multifamily Developer Forum on January 29

The Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) will host the last in a series of developer forums to solicit feedback on scoring criteria and incentives for the development of the 2021-2022 QAP, Multifamily Guidelines and scoring workbook. The Multifamily Developer Forum will be from 1:30-3:30 pm ET on January 29, 2020, at the Frankfort Plant Board Community Room, 151 Flynn Ave., Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.

QAP Kentucky

Kentucky Updates Replacement and Operating Reserve Request Procedures

Effective immediately, all replacement reserve and operating reserve draw requests must be made within the Tenant Data Certification System (TDCS). Draw requests are located under the forms section of the project home page.

QAP Missouri

Missouri Hosts FY2020 Action Plan Mitigation Public Hearings

Missouri will conduct a series of public hearings on its Draft Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Annual Action Plan, which governs the state’s allocation of the following HUD funds: Community Development Block Grant, HOME Program, Emergency Solutions Grant Program, Housing Trust Fund, Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS and Continuum of Care. The 30-day public comment period on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Draft Action Plan begins January 15, 2020 and ends at noon CT on February 14, 2020.
