Qualified Allocation Plans

Proposal applications in connection with the 2020 LIHTC round are due to the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) no later than 5:00 pm ET on Thursday, February 13, 2020. The Affordable Housing Funding Application (AHFA) and all supporting documentation must be submitted on a compact disc, organized and formatted according to the instructions and index specified in the AHFA.

The 2019 Legislative Session brought Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) historic housing resources across the spectrum, including preventing and ending homelessness. House Bill 2006 allocated $3 million in Rental Market Resources to help homeless and low-income Oregonians navigate the tight rental market and achieve positive housing outcomes.

The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) released the following message on QAP requirements for Certified Property Management:

The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) released a $3,377,390 2020 National Housing Trust Fund Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). The funding will go to Public Housing Authorities and nonprofit developers to implement eligible, affordable rental housing development activities, including the acquisition and/or rehabilitation of units or the new construction of units for rent to extremely low-income persons.

The Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) is seeking feedback and comments on its QAP through Friday, April 15, 2020.

RIHousing announced that James Comer has joined the agency in the position of Deputy Executive Director. Comer has extensive experience in strategic planning, property management and affordable housing finance. He most recently served as Executive Director of Women’s Development Corporation (WDC), a Rhode Island-based community development corporation.

California Treasurer Fiona Ma announced that California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) executive director Judith Blackwell will also serve as executive director of the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC) on an interim basis.

The Florida Housing Finance Corporation will hold a Rule Development Workshop to discuss proposed changes to Rule Chapters 67-21 and 67-48 of the Florida Administration Code on March 2 at 2:00 pm ET at its office (227 N. Bronough Street, 6th Floor Seltzer Room, Tallahassee, FL 32301).
