the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority Board of Directors committed $1 million to The Emergency Assistance Loan Fund (EALF) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for affordable housing partners, including organizations providing for the state’s homeless residents. Also, the Board expanded its commitment to NHHFA’s Emergency Housing Program with an additional $200,000 allocation.

The North Carolina Housing Finance Agency posted the 2020 LIHTC Final Site Scores. The scores are broken up into two categories: nine and four percent. The nine percent scores are then further subdivided by region.

The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) instructed all market analysts, capital needs assessors and appraisers performing work for developments funded by IHCDA or applying for funding through IHCDA to cease site visits, fieldwork and onsite inspections until further notice.

The Indiana Division of Aging posted updated guidance for mitigation strategies to reduce the spread of infection in facilities with a resident who has a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19. The document includes general principles, personal protective equipment guidance, staffing recommendations and guidance for facilities and medical providers.

The Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) expects all owners of multifamily rental property that receives any form of financial assistance from DHCD and/or its quasi-public affiliates to refrain from implementing any rent increases.

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) is aware that there are questions in regards to changed operating procedures related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is to advise that the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development Multifamily Housing Notice 20-4 dated March 30, 2020 is modified to withdraw the requirement that borrowers open new bank accounts to deposit deferred surplus cash payments for possible use during the COVID-19 emergency.  

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (Agency) has made the decision to delay the nine percent tax credit deadline by 60 days.
