Qualified Allocation Plans

In the aftermath of Tropical Storm Eta, Florida Housing recirculated the procedures and tools available for owners and residents impacted by severe weather and flooding. Florida Housing requests a general assessment of damage resulting from Tropical Storm Eta and the completed form should be submitted as soon as practical (ideally within five business days) to HDR@floridahousing.org.

Florida Housing Finance Corporation removed the requirement for households to pay 30 percent of their household income to be eligible for Coronavirus Relief Funds (CFR) Rental subsidy. Any already submitted CRF subsidy requests need to be resubmitted and the request amounts need to be updated to reflect this programmatic change.

On November 9, 2020, Florida Housing issued a second modification of RFA 2020-205 “SAIL Financing Of Affordable Multifamily Housing Developments To Be Used In Conjunction With Tax-Exempt Bonds And Non-Competitive Housing Credits”, which extends the Application Deadline from November 12, 2020 to November 18, 2020.

The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) posted the final version of the 2021 Multifamily Underwriting Guidelines, as well as the OHFA Expected Useful Life Table and PCNA Table of Contents template, which are referenced in the Underwriting Guidelines. Registration is now open for the 2021 LIHTC Application Training on November 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. ET.

The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority has revised its 2021-2022 LIHTC QAP to provide increased flexibility for developers with supportive housing proposals and for the 2019-2020 QAP to help developers who need extensions to submit project information.

The California Tax Credit Allocating Agency (TCAC) posted the final proposed regulation changes for its new Further Consolidated Appropriations Act (FCAA) credits allocated in response to the 20117 and 2018 wildfires. The proposed regulations will go before the Committee for consideration and adoption on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

Florida Housing Finance Corporation (Florida Housing) will hold a workshop for Request for Applications (RFA) State Apartment Incentive Loan program (SAIL) Financing Farmworker and Commercial Fishing Worker Housing on November 10 at 10 a.m. ET.

The Maryland Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) is extending the Assisted Housing Relief Program (AHRP) to cover rent delinquencies through October. Applications will be accepted starting November 2, 2020. The application period will close on November 20, 2020.
