The Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC) posted a recording of its 2021 LIHTC application workshop. This workshop covers KHRC’s new and improved LIHTC application, program requirements, evaluation and selection criteria and how LIHTC initiatives can support the goals of the 2021 QAP.

The Massachusetts Historical Commission announced that round 27 of the Massachusetts Preservation Projects Fund (MPPF) grant program has been scheduled. It is anticipated that funding will be in the range of the previous grant round, which was $800,000. Applications are due March 19, 2021.

Charles Richman, executive director of the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) will be retiring from public service as of December 31, 2020 after nearly 50 years.

In response to recent HUD guidance, the Compliance Division of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) posted updated guidance related to COVID-19. TDHCA also posted the draft 2021 Initial Ceiling Summary in preparation for the 2021 nine percent LIHTC application cycle.

The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) is extending the deadline for 2021 LIHTC applications to provide additional flexibility and support for affordable housing developers navigating technology changes and COVID challenges.

The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) posted its response to comments received on the draft 2021 TCAC/Department of Housing and Community Development Opportunity Map. TCAC also posted a notice that its December 17 meeting will be postponed until December 21.

The Arizona Department of Housing will present its annual LIHTC Application Workshop on January 8, 2021 from 9 a.m. to noon MT via Zoom. Developers (or their Co‐Developer or Consultant) who plan to submit an application in the 2021 round must attend this annual workshop. Register here.

The Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) will hold private activity bond (PAB) stakeholder meetings on January 8 and 11, 2020. CHFA is seeking feedback on the following proposed 2021 PAB pool draft guidelines.

The Florida Housing Finance Corporation updated the 2020-2021 Tentative Funding Amounts and Timeline on December 4.

The Ohio Housing Finance Agency posted the 2021 Affordable Housing Funding Application (AHFA), which must be used for nine percent applications, four percent-only applications, and FHAct50 applications. It should not be used for 2021 Bond Gap Financing applications, as the 2021 BGF Guidelines have not been released.
