Qualified Allocation Plans

Minnesota Housing will administer up to $15 million in General Obligation (GO) bond proceeds through the Publicly Owned Housing Program (POHP) to help finance public housing rehabilitation costs. Applications are due Thursday, April 29, 2021 by noon CT. Applicants must be local units of government, such as a city, county, housing redevelopment authority (HRA), or public housing authority (PHA).

New Hampshire Housing will hold a series of public forums on the 2023-2024 QAP, the first of which will take place on February 26, 2021 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. ET. Staff will present an overview of the QAP schedule, introduce topics for proposed changes and provide an opportunity for discussion and feedback. Register here by February 22. The West Virginia Housing Development Fund will hold a virtual 2021 WVHDF LIHTCP Application Workshop on March 11, 2021, from noon until 5 p.m. ET. Register via this form by March 4. The registration fee is $50 per person.

Projects awarded federal disaster credits (or FCAA) may elect to return the federal credit in exchange for a new reservation and allocation from the year immediately following the award year. This allows an additional year for the project to place in service. A qualified high-rise project may also elect to make this exchange.

Connecticut Housing Finance Authority is currently working on changes to the Consolidated Application and the LIHTC Program Guidelines to clarify and streamline the application process.
