The Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) is planning to utilize a Special Purpose Greater Opportunities for Affordable Living (GOAL) Round for SFY 2022. Under this funding round, AHFC will make grants, zero interest loans, LIHTC and sponsor based rental assistance available for competitive allocation.
The Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) is making $3 million in Community Development Block Grant-Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) and $2 million in HOME Program funds available alongside a four percent LIHTC allocation. The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA) board of directors voted to increase the 2021 bond cap by $65 million from $310 to $375 million. The board of directors also voted to amend the 2021 qualified allocation plan (QAP) to create an additional allocation round for the disaster credits approved by Congress in the 2020 year-end spending package.

The Maryland Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) set aside $40 million to relaunch the Assisted Housing Relief Program, which serves rental units in multifamily projects financed by DHCD’s Community Development Administration using State funds and other federal resources.

The Montana Board of Housing unanimously approved the maximum credit per project for the 2022 LIHTC allocation, 22.5 percent or an estimated $6,491,250 per allocated project. If the current federal 12.5 percent boost is not extended for the 2022 credits and beyond, the maximum credit per project will revert to 20 percent or an estimated $6,491,250 per allocated project.
