Florida Solicits What Home Means to You Art Submissions

Floridia Housing is asking property owners, managers and landlords to promote its What Home Means to You art contest. The top 40 designs will be displayed in the Florida Housing Finance Corporation building and online to kick off National Homeownership Month in June. Kids and teens between the ages of 5 and 18 are invited to create a drawing on blank piece of paper. The deadline to submit artwork is Monday, May 3, 2021.

Kentucky 2022 Multifamily Scoring Workbook Clarification

On tab four, New Supply, of the Kentucky Housing Corporation’s (KHC) scoring workbook for the 2022 competitive LIHTC, scoring item number two states that projects located within 0.5 miles for urban projects and three miles for rural projects of a KHC tax credit project that A) has been approved in the previous two years and is not yet placed in service (8609 has not been issued) as of the date shown on the list of projects and B) targets the same tenants as the applicant’s project will have five points deducted from their score.

Tara Hall Named Manager of Rental Development at North Carolina

Tara Hall has been promoted to manager of rental development at the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency. Hall has been on the rental investment team since 2002 and has served as a senior housing development analyst for much of that time. Hall will oversee the day-to-day operations of the rental housing programs, from application through construction and project completion.
