Beacon Communities’ historic rehabilitation project, which is a 2014 Timmy Award winner, was honored by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Ames Shovel Works was one of four projects in the country to receive the award.

Lisa Patt-McDaniel, former Director of Community Development at OCCH, is serving as an “Executive on Loan” to the Affordable Housing Trust of Columbus and Franklin County as they create a new CDFI organization at the Trust.

Ohio Capital Finance Corporation will use a $1.6 million CDFI FY2015 award to launch a statewide Neighborhood Development Fund which will provide loans to community development projects that will positively impact adjacent affordable housing.

The American Jewish Committee Boston chapter honored Arthur Winn, founder of WinnCompanies, at its annual Community Leadership Award dinner. The event celebrated Winn’s affordable housing work.

The agency’s new MAP/Ginnie Mae initiative has generated $77.5 million in financing and extended affordability for 817 apartments in Fairhaven, Fall River, Lowell and New Bedford, Massachusetts.
