Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Community Banking National Executive Maria Barry joined the Rhode Island Housing Board of Commissioners after unanimous approval by Rhode Island State Senate.

Over the next 60 days, HUD is soliciting comments on the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Assessment Tool for States and Insular Areas. One of three AFFH Assessment Tools, this tool is to be used where the State is designated as the lead entity.

A public meeting will be held for the purpose of obtaining the views of interested citizens on housing needs and comments on the NHTF. An Allocation Plan for the NHTF will subsequently be developed and a draft released for public comment.

Cinnaire invested more than $10 million in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit equity to build Montclare Senior in the North Lawndale community area of Chicago, Illinois. Montclare Senior will be mixed income, with 108 affordable housing units and 12 market rate units.
