The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) published Revenue Ruling 2024-5, which provides guidance on the treatment of returned disaster Housing Credits for the 11 states and Puerto Rico that received disaster credit authority in the Taxpayer Certainty and Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2020.

Minnesota Now Accepting Individual Contributions to State Housing Tax Credit Program and Contribution Fund Update

Eligible Minnesota taxpayers can contribute at least $1,000 up to $2 million to the State Housing Tax Credit Program and Contribution Fund and, in return, receive a State Tax Credit Certificate (TCC) equal to 85 percent of the contribution amount.
