Minnesota Housing announced the availability of up to approximately $20.5 million in funding to provide supportive services and direct financial assistance to help households retain their housing or obtain housing through the Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP).
The $20.5 million will be distributed as grants through a competitive request for proposals (RFP) process in accordance with the policies established by the Minnesota Department of Administration Office of Grants Management (OGM).
FHPAP RFP applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025. More information, including the application materials, can be found on Minnesota Housing’s Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP) webpage.
The Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP) was established in 1993 by the Minnesota Legislature to assist families with children, single adults and youth who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. Funding availability is contingent upon legislative approval, program appropriations and returned program funding, and may increase or decrease.
