Minnesota Housing Housing Finance Agency’s announced reporting requirements for state-level prevailing wage statutes amended during the state’s 2023 and 2024 legislative sessions. For loans, grants and LIHTCs awarded directly by Minnesota Housing, the state agency will now electronically collect certified payroll reports within 14 days of the end of each pay period during construction. The prevailing wage certification form and Department of Labor and Industry reporting requirements remain. The new state prevailing wage requirements apply to new construction rental housing selected for $200,000 or more in grant funding or $500,000 or more of total loan funding after July 1, 2023, or to any development with more than ten units that are awarded or allocated Federal LIHTCs after Jan. 1, 2025.
