The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) and the Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH) announced that the bi-annual Development Engagement Process (DEP) opened Sept. 23, 2024 for approximately five weeks for developers seeking state financial assistance or LIHTCs for projects throughout Connecticut.  

Developers are encouraged to submit projects for consideration only if they believe they can prepare and deliver a complete and compliant application within 120 days of a written Invitation to Apply from DOH and/or CHFA. Note that applicants for nine percent LIHTC do not need an Invitation to Apply but do need to attend a mandatory preliminary application conference.
