Minnesota Housing is now accepting applications for Round Two of the 2023 LIHTC Program. Currently, there is $81,180 in LIHTCs available. Pre-applications are due by noon CT on February 10 with final applications due by noon CT on February 24.
Projects that have previously received LIHTCs from Minnesota Housing or a sub-allocator and have an annual LIHTC shortfall of at least five percent—but not more than 33.33 percent of the total qualified annual LIHTC amount, subject to Minnesota Housing approval—will have priority over other applicants in Round Two and those on the waiting list. If more than one project qualifies under the supplemental priority, the agency will evaluate and rank eligible requests according to points claimed in the self-scoring worksheet.
