Oregon Housing & Community Services reallocated unused funds from its Affordable Housing Revolving Land Acquisition Program (LAP) set-asides to a pooled fund available for either homeownership or affordable rental housing land acquisitions in the relevant location-based or culturally specific set-aside.

Organizations eligible to apply for LAP are:

  • Local governments;
  • Local housing authorities;
  • Nonprofit community or neighborhood-based organizations;
  • Federally recognized Tribal Nations in Oregon; and
  • Regional or statewide nonprofit housing assistance agencies.

Available pooled fund balances as of October 21, 2022:

  • Recycled funds: $300,000;
  • Culturally specific organization: $3,000,000;
  • Portland metro statistical area: $2,730,000;
  • Other metro statistical areas: $5,137,952; and
  • Remaining regions: $2,155,000.
