The North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) published the first draft of its 2023 QAP and Appendix B. Two notable changes for the first draft of the 2023 QAP include:
- Cost limits are listed as “TBD” or to be determined as NCHFA seeks feedback before setting appropriate limits for 2023; and
- Language was added to provide the 2021 awards the opportunity to return the 2021 tax credit allocations in exchange for 2023 to address timing concerns for both carryover and placed in service deadlines.
Comments are due by Sept. 30, 2022, to rentalhelp@nchfa.com. The Public Hearing will be held September 28 at 1:30 p.m. ET. More information will be provided in the coming weeks.
