Last week, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 8249, a “minibus” appropriations package that contains six FY 2023 appropriations bills, including the FY 2023 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD) and FY 2023 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies spending bills. The bill, which was passed by a 220-207 vote, also includes FY 2023 funding for Energy and Water Development; Financial Services and General Government; Interior and Environment; Military Construction and Veterans Affairs. They will vote on the remaining six appropriations bills in the coming days and weeks.
