On May 16 – 17, 2022, Virginia Housing’s Community Outreach division will host its 2022 Rental Housing Symposium: Making Housing Stability Our Priority.
The virtual event will bring together industry experts, government agencies and local innovative organizations to discuss the current state of our rental market. You will learn about Virginia’s latest legal housing policy changes and the social determinants of health, counseling and education that impact housing stability. We will also address current issues affecting communities, services, accessibility and affordable rental housing.
The agenda includes topics regarding the rental housing market during the pandemic, the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act and developing sustainable rental communities in Virginia.
