Virginia’s Nine Percent Applications Due March 10

Virginia Housing released the following updates relative to the upcoming nine percent competitive credit round: 

• All completed applications are due by noon ET on March 10. Please make sure you are submitting your competitive application using version 2022.3, which can be found here. 
• Deals re-competing in hopes of securing an additional ten percent in credits will be allowed to use existing ROFRs. In the event the existing ROFR is in any way altered or adjusted beyond the original, applicants will need to use Virginia Housing’s current template, or seek prior approval. 
• Applicants seeking the following will have until June 1 to provide certification(s): Five points shall be awarded to applicants that enter into at least one contract for services provided by a business certified as Women‐owned, Minority‐owned or Service-Disabled Veteran‐owned through the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Small, Women‐owned, and Minority‐owned Business (SWaM) certification program.
