The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) announced a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) of $84 million in Emergency Rental Assistance 2 (ERA 2) Housing Stability Services (HSS) funds for cities, counties, councils of governments, public housing authorities, private nonprofit organizations and other eligible organizations per U.S. Department of the Treasury regulations, to provide housing stability services to income eligible households experiencing housing instability.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. CT on Jan. 7, 2022. TDHCA staff will host a NOFA Application Webinar on December 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. CT and will be available to answer questions related to the NOFA. Register here. Please contact HSS staff at hss@tdhca.state.tx.us with additional questions.
