HUD has announced that Tammye Treviño was sworn in as Regional Director of the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD’s) Region VI, based in Texas. Tammye most recently served as Administrator of the Rural Housing Service (RHS) and was originally appointed to the position of Administrator for Housing and Community Facilities Programs in USDA’s Rural Development (RD) Agency on June 9, 2009 by Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack. Richard Davis, who has worked in RHS’s national office for a number of years, will serve as Acting Administrator.
