The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC), California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC), California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA) and California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) are working together to develop Universal Spreadsheet Standards (USS), which will streamline the process of seeking project financing. NH&RA President Thom Amdur serves on the task force working to develop new and improved application spreadsheets for applicants to use in 2022. The task force is now seeking beta testers of the application forms under development.
Beta testers will be provided preliminary spreadsheets, basic training and feedback instructions. Beta testers will be expected to complete application spreadsheets with non-sensitive data and submit them with your feedback to the task force for review and incorporation into the design. If you are interested in helping test a handful of spreadsheets over the next four months, please express your willingness by emailing CTCAC staff at TCACdocs@treasurer.ca.gov. Please label the subject line as “USS Beta Testing” in your email message. CTCAC staff will coordinate getting you incorporated in the beta testing process.
