HUD recently issued Housing Notice 2012-14 which offered guidance on use of “New Regulation” Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) Contracts Residual Receipts to offset Project-Based Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments. To supplement this document and to respond to requests from Hubs, Program Centers and industry partners, HUD has issued a new FAQ document which clarifies certain provisions in Housing Notice 2012-14.
