The Montana Board of Housing unanimously approved the maximum credit per project for the 2022 LIHTC allocation, 22.5 percent or an estimated $6,491,250 per allocated project. If the current federal 12.5 percent boost is not extended for the 2022 credits and beyond, the maximum credit per project will revert to 20 percent or an estimated $6,491,250 per allocated project.
Although the percentages may change, the total amount of available credits for 2022 will now be $28,850,000. In addition, the 2022 QAP has been officially adopted and signed by Governor Greg Gianforte (R).
