The California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC) recently issued a memo providing additional clarifying guidance for prospective second round applicants. During first round reviews of nine percent (9%) and four percent (4%)-plus-State credit applications, CTCAC staff has identified areas where applicants should pay closer attention and add extra clarification when submitting applications:
- Environmental clearance for readiness scoring
- Site amenity point category
- Schools as site amenities for housing types other than large family
- Service amenity point category
- Financing plan in Tab 2
- Eligible basis certification in Tab 19
- Waivers must be requested prior to the application deadline
