Matt Ammon is currently serving as acting HUD secretary. He was most recently the general deputy assistant secretary for Policy Development and Research at HUD. The Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs will hold a nomination hearing for Rep. Marcia Fudge on January 28 at 10 a.m. ET. Previously, there were reports that all cabinet members from the House and Senate would not officially be installed in their posts until after the first 100 days so that they could help President Biden pass his agenda in the legislature.
Janet Golrick is the acting FHA commissioner. She’s held quite a few roles at HUD including acting deputy secretary and worked in the offices of Community Planning and Development, Recapitalization and Multifamily Housing.
Ethan Handelman has been named deputy assistant secretary for multifamily housing. He was most recently a senior policy analyst for housing and community investment at the Federal Housing Finance Agency.
Arthur Jemison joined HUD as the principal deputy assistant secretary of the office of community, planning and development. He was most recently at the Mayor’s Office of the City of Detroit as the group executive for planning, housing and development.
