HUD published a notice in the Federal Register to announce the inflation factors that will be used to adjust FY 2012 Renewal Funding for the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance voucher program or Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program. The Renewal Funding Annual Adjustment Factors (AAFs), based on Consumer Price Index (CPI) data for rents and utilities in FY 2010 and 2011, have been updated for FY 2012 to include inflation factors that incorporate additional economic indices to measure the expected change in the per unit cost (PUC) for the HCV program. These changes are effectively immediately.
