HUD has issued a notice extending the due date for the submission of public comments on the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Program until April 23, 2012. Interested persons may submit comments electronically through the Federal e-Rulemaking Portal at www.regulations.gov. In addition, the HUD notice clarifies that Section II provisions for properties funded under Mod Rehab, which are part of the discussion of the second component, are not yet in effect.
