The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has issued its 2012 population figures to be used in calculating state housing credit ceilings, volume caps and volume limits in 2012. These figures are based on the most recent census estimate of the resident population of a State (or issuing authority) released by the U.S. Census Bureau before the beginning of the calendar year.
