A public hearing will be conducted concerning the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority’s intent to adopt amendments to its 2012 Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Procedures(LIHTC) for the administration of the Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program. Three proposed changes will be considered:
- In the event of a tie-breaker, preference will be given to applications which have a signed agreement for resident participation.
- Sponsors are required to commit 100% of the units to the local housing authority, giving priority to households that are on waitlists for public or assisted housing.
- Makes certain phrasing and point scoring adjustments.
The public hearing will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, 999 West Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
